Roseville Fire Museum News – November

November proved to be a productive month:

The Roseville Fire Museum was welcomed to the Placer County Historical Society during the Historical Organizations Committee Meeting. Representative Shari gave a presentation about the museum which was followed by a guided tour of the facility by Historian Buddy LaPorte.

Museum President, Jim Giblin, met with the City Librarian, Natasha Casteel, to compose the final MOU for the partnership between the City of Roseville and the Roseville Fire Museum.

The Museum Board met on November 16th to discuss old and new business.

Asbestos removal from the museum building was completed. Patrick Chew, Roseville Supervising Fire Inspector, arranged for a structural engineer to assess what the building will need. Progress is being made, in phases!
